When designing this concept for a high profile winemaker, there were a number of key aspects we wanted to make sure we included. These included retaining the existing bakery, complimenting the beautiful natural landscape, placing the visitor within the main distillery and include two large and impressive cellar doors as the focal design piece.
We wanted to create an elegant experience both inside and outside the main hub, reflecting on the process of making wine. This encourages patrons to explore the vineyards and surrounding productive landscape. Clean and crisp lines with subtle edges within the structure mimic the experience of drinking a beautiful glass of wine.
